Robinson Aircraft Interiors had a modest beginning in Jeff Robinson’s garage in Burleson, TX over 14 years ago. Jeff and his brother Joe had spent time in the United States Air Force as highly trained sheet metal mechanics. After their service to their country was completed both Jeff and Joe began working as contract interior installation mechanics and cabinet fabricators providing their services to several firms in the aircraft maintenance and modification industry. During this work, they found a need in the industry for high quality, high-end cabinetry for the interior of corporate jets. After working in the industry for quite some time Jeff and Joe were awarded a contract with Galaxy Aircraft that would allow them to finish the aircraft interiors of Galaxy’s new jets that were being assembled at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, TX.
When Galaxy Aircraft was acquired by Gulfstream Aerospace, the Robinsons’ reputation for high quality and on-time delivery of aircraft cabinetry garnered them a new contract with Gulfstream Aerospace of Dallas, TX, requiring the company to expand and move into a 35,000-square-foot facility.
Today, Robinson Aircraft Interiors has grown to include over 140 employees that work on projects for a variety of clients, producing interior monuments, complete interior upholstery and structural/decorative interior sheet metal and machined components. Their growth and success within the industry has allowed Robinson Aerospace to expand their facility resulting in a new 217,563 square ft. Office / Hangar facility on Ft. Worth's Alliance Airport. The new facility now expands Robinson's offerings into direct access Business Jet Interior retrofits, MRO and on-site veneer production and install. Additionally the new facility will now offer full on-site DESIGN capabilities with its modern design department and customer showroom. The new facility will continue to operate it's prior existing state of the art equipment and service departments from the Coppell facility.
Their growth has allowed Robinson Aircraft Interiors to expand their services and acquire contracts from multiple major aerospace firms such as; Gulfstream Aerospace, BizJet International, PATS Aircraft Systems, Associated Air Center, The Nordam Group, Gore Design Completions and L-3 Communications
